McNEESE STATE COWBOYS LASSO 66% INCREASE IN SPONSORSHIP REVENUE
ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT LEVERAGES FAN DATA TO PROVE ROI

LAKE CHARLES, LA. – McNeese State University athletics have increased their corporate sponsorship revenue over 66% from 2007 to 2009.

In addition to a focused effort to reach out to the local business community, McNeese State athletics also invested in fan data provided by Rojo Research to underscore the immense value of the Cowboys fans and their sponsorship packages.

McNeese State uses over 300 consumer behavior data points to leverage with prospects.

The department increased revenue from $415,000 to $689,000, in spite of a very challenging economy and marketing climate. Furthermore, pending contracts could increase sponsorship revenue to $739,000 by the end of the 2009-2010 fiscal year.
