Dayton, OH. – Wright State University Athletics selects Rojo Research to perform study on fan demographics. Rojo Research will capture data on fan demographics, marketing effectiveness, customer service, ticket pricing, media consumption, and event experience.

Wright State University fields 16 intercollegiate sports and has been a NCAA Division I Athletics member since 1987.

Founded in 1964, the institution was named in honor of Dayton natives the Wright Brothers. The university has an enrollment of more than 17,000 students, and offers 155 degrees, including 46 graduate and professional programs.

Noted alumni include former UN Weapons Inspector David Albright, singer/actress Nicole Scherzinger – lead singer of The Pussycat Dolls, bestselling romance novelist Jennifer Cruise, former 11-year NBA player Vitaly Potapenko, PGA Tour golfer Frank Lickliter, former Anaheim Angel’s first round pick pitcher Brian Anderson, and screenwriter Erik Bork – Twice Emmy Award Winner as Supervising Producer for HBO’s Band of Brothers and From the Earth to the Moon.

Wright State University is the fifth Horizon League institution to retain Rojo Research services to perform fan demographics research. Rojo Research also has worked with Butler University, Cleveland State University, Loyola University-Chicago, and University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

The Horizon League is an NCAA Division I athletics conference whose membership aspires to teach young people, through athletic competition, the value of learning, service to others and personal responsibility and annually conducts 19 championships, contributing to the student-athlete experience.  Members of the Horizon League include; Butler University, Cleveland State University, University of Detroit Mercy, University of Illinois at Chicago, Loyola University Chicago, Valparaiso University, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Wright State University, and Youngstown State University.
