THREE-DOZEN ROJO SCHOOLS DANCING TO MARCH MADNESS TUNE March 15 , 2011

Portland, OR – More than half of Rojo Research’s 67 collegiate clients are in 2011 post-season basketball tournaments, representing 36 colleges and universities, 43 men’s and women’s programs, and two countries.

Rojo partners Belmont, Butler, UT-San Antonio, and Utah State received automatic births to the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament for winning their respective conference tournaments.

The NCAA Division I Women’s Tournament field includes Louisiana Tech, Montana, Fresno State, McNeese State, Texas Tech, Northern Iowa, Central Florida, and Bowling Green.

For the Division II Men’s Tournament, Humboldt State, Missouri Southern, Winston-Salem State, West Texas A&M, Central Oklahoma, and Minnesota State-Mankato were selected.

The Division II Women’s Tournament field includes Northwest Missouri State, Central Oklahoma, Cal State-San Bernardino, and Western Washington.

In Canada, Wilfrid Laurier University has advanced to Final Eight in the 2011 Canadian Interuniversity Sports (CIS) Women’s Basketball Tournament.

The National Invitation Tournament is the oldest post-season tournament in college basketball, started in 1938 – a year prior to the NCAA’s first championship in 1939. The 2011 Men’s NIT invitees include Rojo clients California, Saint Mary's, Milwaukee, Cleveland State, and McNeese State.

The 2010 Women’s NIT field of 64 includes Lamar, Liberty, Butler, Portland State, Saint Mary's, Utah State, California, Nevada, and Wyoming.

Valpo, Portland, Hawaii, North Dakota, Northern Iowa, and Idaho men's teams have been invited to play in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament (CIT).

San Jose State, Montana, Weber State, Boise State, and Central Florida will battle in the College Basketball Invitational Tournament (CBI).
