SACRAMENTO STATE SELECTS FIRM FOR FAN RESEARCH
Sacramento, CA – Sacramento State Athletics has selected Rojo Research to perform a fan demographic study in an effort to increase corporate sponsorship revenue.
"We are pleased to partner with Rojo Research to analyze the interests and needs of our fans," said Dr. Terry Wanless, Athletic Director for Sacramento State. "Hornet athletics is important to our university and our community and this information will provide needed information to insure that we are marketing our program with integrity and purpose."

Established in 1947, the University has an enrollment over 28,000 students. Sacramento State offers 60 undergraduate and 40 graduate programs.
Sacramento State is a member of the Big Sky Conference and sponsors 20 NCAA sports. The Hornets have captured four national titles since 1980, as well as 47 NCAA Division I conference titles. Sac State hosted the U.S. Olympic Track and Fields Trials in 2000 and 2004, and has hosted nine NCAA Division I National Championships over the past 13 years.
Notable Sacramento State alumni include Mervyn Dymally, Lieutenant Governor of California; Grammy Award-winning musician Bobby McFerrin – best know for "Don't Worry, Be Happy"; Actor Tom Hanks; TV Actor Creed Bratton of The Office; CBS & NBC TV news celebrities Giselle Fernandez and Lester Holt; former Hugh Hefner girlfriend and TV's The Girls Next Door cast member Bridget Marquardt; and David Hodo, founding member of musical group The Village People (Hodo was the Construction Worker).
Rojo Research specializes in audience research to assist college athletics programs and professional sports organizations increase corporate sponsorship revenues. Launched in September 2006, the company has quickly risen to one of the largest providers of audience research for NCAA member institutions with over 60 college and pro organizations.
