KPCN RADIO MOVIMIENTO 96.3 FM PARTNERS WITH ROJO RESEARCH

Woodburn, OR. – KPCN-LP Radio Movimiento 96.3 FM has agreed with Rojo Research for access to its syndicated Portland Spanish media research.
In September, Rojo Research performed comprehensive Spanish media consumer research in the greater Portland metro region, dialing over 9,900 local Latinos to ultimately interview 356 respondents.


Rojo Research captured over 400 data points on Latino media consumption, purchasing plans, shopping behavior and demographics. KPCN-LP will leverage such listener data to attract and enhance underwriting revenues, thus offer a return on investment for sponsors.

Launched on August 20, 2006, KCPN-LP Radio Movimiento 96.3 FM is an outreach vehicle for Northwest Treeplanters and Farmworkers United (Pineros y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste – PCUN). Some 250 community radio activists from around the U.S. and Latin America joined 100 PCUN supporters, leaders, and members for a three-day “barnraising” to remodel the studio and mount the antenna atop the city’s water tower. Organization and technical assistance was offered by the Prometheus Radio Project.


KCPN-LP Radio Movimiento 96.3 FM joins KUNP-TV Univision, KWBY 940 AM La Pantera, KWIP La Campeona, KCKX 1460 AM Radio Ondas De Gozo, KSND 95.1 FM La Pantera Amor, and Puertolandia Magazine as subscribers to Rojo Research’s local syndicated Spanish media research.


In addition to syndicated Spanish media research, Rojo Research specializes in college athletics, pro sports, and performance arts audience research to assist organizations increase corporate sponsorship revenues. Other local clients include the Portland Opera, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Portland Beavers, Portland Timbers, and the Portland State Vikings.
