WINSTON-SALEM STATE RAMS RELY ON ROJO RESEARCH - May 22 2008

Winston-Salem, NC. – Winston-Salem Athletics has commissioned Rojo Research to perform a study on fan demographics. “One of the most underserved areas in HBCU athletics is a dedicate focus on fundraising for athletics. In my opinion we are finally recognizing the value and importance of having a focused effort for athletics fundraising. Certainly the first step is to develop the necessary infrastructure to get it done; the next step is to implement a partnership with Rojo Research.” Comments Dr. Chico Caldwell, Director of Athletics for Winston-Salem State University.

“The system that Rojo has developed provides and unique and effective use of research data to show corporate sponsors how a partnership with WSSU can provide a sound return on their investment. This will be a first for WSSU athletics and we are excited about the fundraising leverage the Rojo research survey will provide for our external operation in athletics to better understand our fan and corporate demographic.”
