SLIDER IN SEATTLE: LOCAL LATINOS LOVE MARINERS BASEBALL
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:  June 12, 2009

Seattle, WA - The Seattle Mariners are the sport du jour for Puget Sound Latinos.

Rojo Research recently surveyed 485 Seattle-area Latinos regarding demographics, purchasing habits, media consumption, and sports preferences.

Almost 40% of all Latino adults have watched or listened to a Mariners baseball game in the past 12 months, compared to 34.2% for Sounders Soccer, 32.4% for Seahawks Football, and 20.8% for the University of Washington Huskies Football.

With an estimated 271,500 Latinos residing the seven Puget Sound counties of King, Pierce, Snohomish, Skagit, Thurston, Kitsap, and Island - a collective broadcast audience of 108,600 is quite impressive. ¡Muy Bueno!

Furthermore, 19.8% of Latino adults also attended a Mariners baseball game in the past 12 months.
