NORTH CAROLINA CENTRAL UNIVERSITY CHOOSES ROJO RESEARCH

North Carolina Central University fields 14 varsity sports and is a transitional NCAA Division I member. NCCU currently participates as an independent.

Founded in 1910, North Carolina Central University is the first state-supported African-American liberal arts college in the United States . The school has over 6,600 undergraduate and 2,000 postgraduate students. NCCU is the only historical black college or university (HBCU) to boast a National Parks and Recreation Association-accredited graduate program.
Noted NCCU alumni include North Carolina Governor Mike Easley; Maynard Jackson, Atlanta’s first black mayor; Vogue Editor-At-Large Andre Leon Talley; NBA Hall of Fame player Sam Jones; internationally-renowned artist Ernie Barnes; and Ivan Dixon, known for his role of “Kinch” in the 1960’s television series Hogan’s Heroes.
North Carolina Central University joins Winston-Salem State University as the second HBCU institution to commission Rojo Research to perform fan research.
