ROJO RESEARCH COMPLETES 2008 PORTLAND SPANISH MEDIA STUDY 2008 October 31, 2008
Portland, OR - Rojo Research recently completed its market study of Portland’s Spanish language media. The company telephone interviewed 472 Latino adults regarding Spanish-language media consumption, demographics, acculturation, shopping habits and purchasing trends. The study focused on Latinos that reside in the Portland’s metropolitan regional counties consisting of Multnomah, Washington, Marion, Clackamas, Yamhill, and Clark (WA). Over 400 data-points on Latinos were collected for use by Portland Spanish media advertising sales endeavors.
Local media that subscribe to the 2008 Portland Spanish Media Study include KUNP-TV Univision, KWBY 940 AM La Pantera, KCKK 1460 AM Radio Ondas de Gozo, KWIP 880 AM La Campeona, La Pantera Amor 95.1 FM, and KCPN Radio Movimiento 96.3 FM.
In other news, Rojo Research has hired Ms. Evelin Hernandez as Director of Spanish Media Partnerships. Ms. Hernandez has extensive banking and insurance industry experience, and is an active member of the Oregon Hispanic Chamber. She is a former Board of Director member for the Kidney Foundation of Oregon/Washington and the Portland Women’s Crisis Line. Ms. Hernandez was also the 2005 Miss Latina Oregon.
